ECO-FRIENDLY BIO-MEDICAL WASTE MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY PRACTICE IN BANGLADESH FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Currently Sustainable Development Goals (17 goals) are the main challenges for industrialization and infrastructure development an economy. One challenge faced is in developing economy like Bangladesh where focus of has been given priority by sacrificing natural conservation. Recently a large number health cares have established all over country. Therefore, huge amount medical wastage generated daily Bio-medical waste management inevitable sustainable development. The bio directly relevant to SDG goal 3 (Good well- being), 6 (Clean water sanitation), 11(Sustainable cities communities), 13(Climate action) 15(Life on land). From literature, it found that few eco-friendly technologies available adopted various countries. This paper aims identify bio-medical practice whether or not. A survey was conduced 176 respondents from 22 healthcare institutions; study showed most care institutions transfer their responsible municipality/local authority.
